exploring the idea of using google forms, but not sure if you can prevent double bookings

What if you just used the excel document and they fill in open spots? wouldn't be the form, but it would get the job done.

The nice thing about google docs though is that you can look at previous changes to see if someone did move someone OR

when we schedule our times we ask them to put their top 3 times. You could still use a google form and have them put them top 3 times. Then

you would just send a note letting them know what time they are confirmed for.
