Actually no. The new IE9 compatibility mode is a compromise of IE7 plus some of IE8.

The dev tools in IE9 does got render anylitics for all current IE engines. The only thing that got the actual rendering modes as they were

are the the IE9 previews. there is a fifth one right now. it fits for the current engine being used in IE9 Beta.
