too
, let me thing who is my personal favorite, and I'll report back
no one. there's hundreds of very talented ones.
agrees with Codie - there are so many talented ones, with so many different styles. I'd have a hard time even naming the 10 "best" ones.
that there are many best one's. My personal favorite atm is four yip
pfew...
you MUST have a preferate
yeah i can barely limit myself to 10 names
i would say Stephen Venkman is in my top list.. Corbett Howard.. Shoshana Epsilon.. Keiko Morigi.. Praddles.. Mylena Aquitaine..
Jenn Villota.. they all have different styles and specialties.. some are better photographers, some are more artsy.. but they all kick ass
that is an answer !! thks
Prad Pradtivi, Raul Crimson, Gina, Sila Slade, Fury Harbinger, Tary Ellen, Suzanna Graves, Trinity, Lacie Babenco, to name a few, and ...
.... yes, despite differences, also Seik
agree with Gina Four Yip does an amazing work
emosad she's not on Peter's list
and uhm... codie, seik, codie & codie!
yep. Gina, Seikatsu rocks, Kimberly Mirabeau, Melodious Source, there's so many good ones.. Ryker of course
going to share a secret *looks around* she is a fan of Kimberly Mirabeau ... shhh
Kimberly fucking rules. nuff said.
erases GIna and Seik from the list
glad
for this question there are two answers, there is the school of photography with no Photoshop
and the second way to take a picture which is computer photography is photo shopping
so I think a truly great second life, picture, is done completely in second life
and there is some wonderful photographers
Queen, there is a problem with a plain SL shot, we don't have good light, and we don't have flash, so even if to a min extent >>
photoshop helps fix the exposure and light in the shot. Not all of it is cheating.
agrees. this "purist prim-itivist" mentality irritates me a lot. art is art. no matter what the tools you are using, its not cheating
i hate when someone dismisses hundreds if not thousands of hours of hard, tears and sweat work as "cheating"
i have an utter respect for photographers like Shoshana Epsilon spending 4h to make a shoot setup, but even her started processing
Gina shows that you can make amazing photos without photoshopping
almost without photoshopping Peter, I do make adjustments due to the lack of the lighting I wanted to have in SL like Seik & Codie said.
but i have to admit that i'm a bit of a purist though
purist doesn't mean you have to lack respect for the work of people Gina (i know it's not your case but *points up*)
last picture i processed i spent 8h fixing prim splines and avatar glitches. avatar meshes are fail in SL.
furthermore this is the same kind of mentality that photographers had toward photoshoppers 10 years ago
then they all figured out how photoshop was kinda essential to them, be it to crop a picture.
Always used to think no to processing... I used to think if you had the eye then you didn't need anything else... however over the years
I have come to realise that having the isn't enough. It's the biggest part of the battle but things will always need enhanced. Especially
in SL. I have MUCH respect for the great photographers out there who spend hours not changing their images but getting the best of out of
i don't have any more respect for artists that processes or don't. art is not about the technique. if you can't take a shot, you can't.
processing it won't help a bad shot. like you say if you have the eye, you have the eye.
Art is about touching people.
No, not **that** touching
agrees and the most wonderful thing about art is we are all touched by totally different things. I dislike people who say they hate a
technique or style... it's personal opinion. Something that you hate the next person loves. It's very much like the convo a few weeks back
about music... it's personal choice and it should be respected.
hahaha yeah but as you saw Trini, some people are VERY thick. "metal is shit!"
hey quit saying metal is shit!!! Photoshop is shit! kidding lol
well thats what was that idiot was repeating, you know i love metal lol
Gold, Platinum, Silver...
actually it was gold, frankincense, muhr
Yeah, I think Peter gave a good definition :Art touches people
