Actually, WoW does a lot that many other games do not do...

1. Warcraft already was a fan favorite

2. it has an easy ui

3. you get rewards for adding friends/family

4. they add things (especially for geeks like myself) that are already a fan favorite

ie. Star Trek references

5. interesting goals

ie. Raid achievements
