I love how they continually brag about their new ultimately scalable architecture and their fantastic genius technology

that makes them better than everybody else what with their NoSQL and distributed platforms

but a bunch of overfed giftwrap-covered people with a day off and new gizmos can bring it down

whereas everybody else seems to have no trouble keeping their shit running

even sites that let you send more than 128 bytes at a time

Mmm nosql is truly the answer for a huge concurrent application it would seem

The thing to remember with twitter is that it started as a rail project.

I don't really hold out any huge expectations for it given that basis

the problem is that nosql isn't really a thing so much as it is an explanation of what it is not

and clearly, they're doin' it wrong.
