alpha layer shoes instead of invisiprims, but for the love of God, WHY do people make the alpha extend further up the leg than the shoe?

I think the height of the person making the alpha for the shoe makes a difference. You're probably several inches shorter than the creator
maybe try an alpha mask from another pair of shoes, that might work
