starts to hide when seeing an admiral at sight.
notices the woman hurrying away and thinks it's kind of... suspicious? He wonders if he should follow her
did not expect seeing an admiral. The Navy has been quiet for a while now, so she was surprised.
looks around and there really isn't anything else to do... so he hops to look where is she going to hide and why
felt a little bit strange that the other almost look like he was just dilly dallying. Maybe he did not see her. She is fine with that.
did see her, but being bored does not work well with him and he'll go with any distraction...
still cautious about her surrounding. She still does not want to bump into the Admiral.
hums and decides to take another approach, suddenly going into another little street, a short cut
starts walking briskly, glancing from side to side, feeling a bit wary at where the other has went. She goes out of the main street.
to dodge a few passers-by on the narrow streets, but finally manages to end more or less in front of where he guesses the woman went, and_
been walking for quite a while now, so perhaps the coast was clear for her. Even so, she still tries to change her appearance somehow. She_
puts her hair up and tucks it inside her cap and tries to blend in with the busy street.
wasn't expecting her to change her appearance, so he takes a while to recognize her... but the woman does kind of stand out, she's taller_
_than the other women... he eventually notices her and discretely comes closer
continues to keep her head down, glancing cautiously. She felt someone following behind her. She cannot just start running away. That would
just give it all out. She just continues to go with the flow of the people moving.
huffs as he tries to move closer to her sliding between people, trying not to push them away too roughly. He doesn't remember why did he_
_start chasing the woman any more, the fact that she's running away from him makes him wonder. If only he could reach her shoulder...
still had her head down and does not realize the huge men ahead, accidentally bumping into them and making her lose her balance a bit. She_
gulps and starts apologizing out of panic. "P-prosti menya."
his chance now! P: he reaches for her shoulder and (as gently as he can) forces her to turn and look at him "Ha-ha! gotcha!"
tenses quickly at the hand by her shoulder and almost shrieks out as she gets turned to be face to face with the admiral.
BEAMS pleased with himself now that he's caught her... then blinks because he has no idea what should he say next "...uh. Hello."
still feels so startled after being caught. She tries to compose herself before blowing her cover again. "P-p..privyet, A-admiral..."
tilts head and scratches his cheek with his free hand, not letting her go yet "So uh... why.. .were you running away?"
felt so nervous all of a sudden and tries to think of a quick reason possible. "I-I-ii... I saw... a ghost..." She facepalms herself in her_
...m-might or might not be trembling a bit as he laughs nervously "C-come on now, really... a g-ghost...?"
blinks back up. Is he serious? Well then, she'll just play along! She trembles and nods. "D-da.. It frightened me, sir..."
it's his duty to protect everybody... e-even from a ghost so... "A-and where was that so-called ghost...?"
blinks at him and giggles a little softly at how he stutters. "Well... It was right behind you back then."
totally not turning pale right now "R-really? A-as in... right..." you're going to make him faint Anya...
blinks again and taking notice of the change of his color. She can't help but giggle a bit louder now. "I am sorry, sire.... I was just_
joking with you. There were no ghost." She may have felt a little guilty about scaring him.
...pouts because he was totally not scared, d'uh "Well haha, of course! T-there's no such thing as ghosts after all..."
giggles and shakes her head. "Nyet, ghost are real. I have seen them before." It was true though, she did.
frowns, and won't believe her any more :T ... but yeah ghosts are totally real "S-so! Why were you running away from me then?"
gulps. Maybe she should have just left him to faint. Then perhaps she could have make a run for it. "A-ah... well..."She squirms in_
smirks inwardly, payback feels nice~ "Sooo...~? Why would you run from a navy officer, madam?"
stares into his eyes a bit nervously. "...C-chtoby ubezhat ot vas...."
raises an eyebrow "...what? I- aren't you from here...?"
blinks and shakes her head. "Nyet... I am not..."
tilts head "I...see, I have no idea what you just said..."
does not want to translate her words. She looks around, trying to find a way to get away. "A-are you not suppose to be out here, sire?"
hums, looking around... she's actually right, he kind of got carried away... but still! "Well, I thought you running away was suspicous..."
blinks, trying to work her way around this. "I am allowed to run, da? Or is that a crime?"
frowns (frowning! totally not pouting) "W-well, not but... you were running away from ME and you looked scared..."
finds the Admiral's face funny and inwardly giggles "A-ah... I was not scared... I .just get nervous around the Navy...."
raises an eyebrow, uh-hu he got her admiting that much! "And why would that be~?"
mentally facepalms herself again. "... nervous in a way of admiration... sire.... I-I do not know how to act in... front of a handsome
officer such as... you, sire...." Please bluff, work!
blinks, really, really weak to the flattering "Ah- uh... hum... oh. T-thank you?"
thanks the sea gods! Now she acts a bit, fidgeting around nervously and purses her lips. "....Da... Y-you are welcome, sire...? what would _
just lost it, forgeting everything about her running away (for now!) "J-jones... Admiral Jones at your service, madam..."
doesn't think she has heard of that name before. Probably a new Admiral. She will have to look him up. "Pleasure is all mine, Admiral Jones"
smiles ,trying to be Mr.Charming all of a sudden "And may I ask your name, madam?"
blinks. She wonders if she should tell her name. "... A.. Anastasiya, Admiral Jones..."
tilts head "Anastasiaaa... that doesn't sound like a common name..."
nods and wonders why he had to exaggerate her name so much. "... Da... Well in my country it is common."
tilts head "...may I as where are you from?"
looks at him. ".... I am from Russia, sire...."
tilts head, barely knows where that is but- "OH! I see, then must...have see a lot of world..."
knew that the other did know know where it was. It was definitely far off from where they are right now. She smiles painfully at his words_
and just nods weakly, lowering her head down. "... Da... you can say I have been to many places..."
smiles "That sounds amazing... I wish I had, I've mostly just seen sea though..."
shrugs her past away and looks up to him, smiling a little. "Well you are an admiral now, da? So you will be able to soon..."
nods proudly "I hope so! And follow the pirates, and catch them... that'll feel amazing"
tenses and gulps. "Da... I suppose so.."
nods~ "...oh, I never asked what did you do for a living did I?"
swallows harder. "N-nyet, you did not... But there is nothing interesting about me, Admiral Jones! I assure you. How did you even get at_
such high ranking already when you look so young?" Switching topics.
tilts head "Because I was the best with a difference! And, well... I was really enthusiastic too..." does not mind bragging about himself_
_at all, but he's more and more curious about the woman as the time ges by
makes an 'o' with her mouth and accompanies it with a few slow nods. She really wants to get away from him now. Too much contact with him_
might end up bad. She smiles apologetically. "Is that so? Ah! I am so sorry, Admiral, but I think it is best for me to leave now. I am sure
you are a busy man too, da?"
tilts head, pouting slightly "... why so suddenly..?"
blinks and tries to think of something to say. "... A-ah.. well... I would not want to keep you away from your duties, da Admiral?"
hums... he might be naïve, but even he can tell something's off with this woman "Very uh... noble of you, madam"
smiles at him and bows her head a bit. "So, I will take my leave now. Da svidania, Admiral Jones. It was a pleasure meeting you."
