WordPress spam help - my blog is getting spammed dozens of times every day by someone using very similar user names, all same IP address...
This has been going on for two weeks and Akismet is NOT catching them. The blog is on my own server, not WordPress's. Any ideas how to...
get rid of the comments? I couldn't find any options on Akismet's site for reporting a specific IP address.

are you using the latest Askimet version? I've noticed a huge uptick in spam over the last two weeks, but mine is catching it...
Marked as spam, and Akismet version is 2.5.1, which SHOULD be the latest, I think.
IKR? It's the SAME FREAKING IP ADDRESS. EVERY TIME. And the user name is always jonn1, jonn2 or jonn3. You'd think they'd catch that.
