Yeah, we have ice storms every few years. The night my dad died we stayed at hospice cuz knew we wouldn't get back if we left.

Sure enuf he passed away in the night & we were iced in at hospice next morning. Somehow appropriate. Cold, bleak, sad day- yet beautiful.

it's a full 35 degrees warmer here than it was the same time last night!

We're not prepared for snow or ice at all! Trucks sand bridges & overpasses, but doesn't make sense to invest in snow equipment.

lived in San Antonio in jr high, had an inch of snow once & they closed the freeways & schools due to "ice." It's a different world!

it was freezing cold yesterday, tonight I barely needed a jacket. So weird. got to see Times Square tonight. My Zumba class was cancelled
