just met with some Library Science students about their project - they've created an MS Access database in their first class... not bad!

I've actually used my SQL knowledge twice- both times to fix a broken wordpress install.
SQL is better for real-world solutions, but Access has a less steep learning curve - the project is to collect ref stats and run reports
