What is your question - I should be able to help
I need to sign up 3 classes..do I need to pay the $10 per class in order for their kids to comment?
Can the teachers sign them using their email address and just use her account?
some teachers create additional identities within their accounts and have students post from them
or, you can have students sign up for a free account - unlimited commenting
We want to get our 5K classes to share snowmen stories and am not sure what would be the best way to do that. I have only had signle acct.s
Do you know how many identities that the teacher can have? We thought of doing that, but we don't know what the limitations are.
Our kids don't have email accts. and we are concerned that only 1 person can use the teacher acct.
Correct - only one person can record from an account at a time, but
they can record at different times as different identities from that one account
you pay $10 to go Voicethread Ed, then $10 per each class . . . we use the free version
Ahhh...just read that trick...wow, very interesting..have you used that?
That is what we use when students register for Voicethread
Do you know the limitations with identities?
that IS what we use - sorry for the THINKS - forgot to change it
Then use that address as the basic for the "fake" + addressed
I love it--we are doing that tomorrow...so I will sign each kid up..
[email protected] as an example...and then we use that each time that
kid needs to sign up for a web 2 app that needs email
The only apps that Gmail trick WON'T work for are Google apps - at least, that is my experience
I think I may have mis-read the + addresses...will go back and reread that.
I really just bragged about the power of pln--an answer in 10 minutes!
Love me PLN
Also attended your SL preso--impressive...
. . . typing too fast -- MY PLN
Me Too! Usually use Twitter WAY more thank Plurk...
Thanks - that was a lot of fun - never presented in SL before
Thanks again~~have a great night! We are getting major snow, so have shoveling to look forward to later!
I like the conversational construct of Plurk, but I'm so invested in Twitter . . use
Ping.fm to post to both
Yeah, I noticed that you are good at using both. I tried to make a pt of being better on Plurk, but I find myself always heading back to T
ok--am off to enjoy dinner..really, I am so thankful that you were on tonight..I want to call the teachers to tell them we have an answer!
