The deadlines for summer classes are really lax.

Because you have kids who fail spring semester and retake over summer, so the deadlines are all pretty last minute.

Plus I know over summer UNO does language intensives: eight-hour days of nothing but language learning.

For those who need to learn as much of a foreign language as they can.
