it sucks to be told all throughout your life that you should go to college and do great things and then have that offer be rescinded due to
financial difficuly.

money is one of the worst reasons to decide to or not to go to (a) college.
but we literally cannot afford it.
and you do not qualify for any grants, loans, or scholarships.
my mother makes too much money a year for us to qualify for grants even though my father just lost his job and we are in debt,
and i will only qualify for loans that are roughly half of the yearly tuition (including housing)
and apparently i did not do well enough in high school to qualify for their scholarships, which adds insult to injury.
i feel like i fucked up throughout all of high school even though i did try very hard to take APs/hard classes/apply myself.
i see... did both of your parents go to college?
my mother did and got all the way to her doctorate but my dad did not.
