I have all 3 sets (of course). I prefer the metal- they're the fastest. the bamboo are warm in the hands, pretty, and are really good

for slippery yarns. the plastic ones are suuuuuper pointy which I love, but are a little flimsy in the smaller sizes.

won't you have the same problem with the Hiyahiyas? I don't like them because they don't stay screwed in no matter how tight you make them
