Run!! JK - I'm sure it could be effective, but does require lots of paperwork in our system, so has a bad name here.

in IN it is the "law" and our school actually has a "coordinator"- don't ask me what she does all day though!

just that it must be done for kids who are "below level"; we can't recommend kids for Sp Ed testing until they have gone through RTI
