*did* supply chairs, but he found that they weren't as comfortable as splaying out between bookshelves that were preferably not too visible
by the librarians. Today's perfect spot was in the Ancient Texts section; no one was ever around there besides the ridiculously obsessed
Classics majors. He yawned and flipped the page of his book, realizing that he hadn't progressed that far.
[[For
Icebb ;w;" /Sister kept distracting orz]]
There was really no better place to get away from the rest of the school than the library. Nobody really wanted to come here other than
when they had to. And even if, they'd still try to avoid the gloomy place. He really didn't mind it that much, but understood why people did
really want to go here. Yet it was perfect for getting away from the rest of the school and their tiring talks. Or at least he thought
he wouldn't find anyone here; because when he turned the corner, he found another person in the corner. In the part of the library that he'd
never expect anyone to be in. "...uh" He was not really sure if to just back off or what.
He looked up through his dark eyelashes as his book was cast with a shadow, and blinked up at the boy standing there. His hair was a bright,
shocking shade of white, and Michael couldn't help but look at it. He was intrigued by it; that sort of a hair color could never happen in
his family. After a moment he turned his gaze back to the page, acting like it was perfectly normal that he was laying on the library floor.
Eiríkur kept his surprised stare until he realized that he should look away, and did so. Who was this person, he seemed so oddly calm
and not really caring about the rest of the world. As if lying there was a completely normal thing to do. Carefully he placed a hand on one
of the bookshelves and go on instead of just turning away. "...Who..'re you?" This person seemed too strange to just ignore. Strange in a
good way, more like interesting he guessed.
The Asian returned his attention to the other boy, again struck by his shiny white hair. "...Xianggang..." he replied in his soft, but low
voice, staring at the other with an intense gaze that almost made it seem like he could see right into his head. "But I go by Michael..." He
was aware that his name was a mouthful for those who didn't speak his language, and adopting an English name wasn't an unusual custom.
Xi..what. He couldn't even recreate the sound of the name inside of his head, but didn't comment it. He flinched at the gaze,
that guy was staring right through him right now wasn't he? "Ah.." He was more than happy to get a non-asian name, that wouldn't
destroy a part of his brain by trying to pronounce it.
((... Fu it's late, bette go to bed. I'll reply tomorrow ~))
[[Pff, I thought so ;3; /Tucks <333]]
He waited a few beats longer for a response, and upon receiving none, turned back to his book disinterestedly. Too bad, Michael had sort of
been intrigued by this boy, but perhaps it was just the white hair that made him seem much cooler than he really was. The Asian boy ran a
hand through his bangs, which didn't really help to keep them from hanging over one eye, and sprawled out longer on the carpeted floor.
watched carefully as the guy tried to get control of his hair without much luck, and decided he better just leave him alone. Or at least
stop standing there just staring, so he chose to sit down a five meters away. No intentions of trying to find another place in the library
that didn't contain other people. Well there was another person right there, why didn't he mind him? "Don't worry I won't interrupt your
reading." Eiríkur said before taking his arms around his legs so he could rest his head on his knees. Beginning to gaze distantly at
nothing. Eyes somewhat thoughtful.
The dark-haired boy nodded, but it didn't take action for the other to interrupt his reading. Simply him being there had Michael glancing
over at the other simply because he was curious. Why wasn't he reading anything? This was a library... But maybe he just liked the peace and
quiet. It was definitely something Michael wished he could have at home.
He could almost feel the stare and promptly turned his head to look back. His eyebrows raised as if he was questioning why Daniel was
((LOLWAT, It must've been morning when I wrote that - aka. tired me x'D SORRY FOREVER))
He quickly diverted his gaze, and though his cheeks weren't red he felt like he was blushing. Which was odd, he almost never grew flustered
(well, unless he walked in on one of his sisters changing, but that was a different story). "...What?"
[[;w; That's fine pff. Do you know another HK that uses that name? |D]]
((It's one of the names I've seen a lot. And we played Amnesia yesterday, so that could be it too xD))
He was kind of surprised (or maybe confused) by how quickly the other turned his gaze away, but didn't comment on it. "....I'm asking you
that.." He said, turning he head away. Feeling a bit flustered himself.
He looked amused at the other's expression, and shook his head. "Nothing..." After a moment though, his dark eyes turned back to the
Icelandic male. "Why... aren't you reading?"
He didn't look back this time, but just kept staring right forward. Not replying for a while, as if he was thinking about his answer.
"I'm not really here for the books.. Only for the quietness" He murmured, just understandable.
(( DANIEL?! XD oh i love you ))
((Brb I'll just bury myself somewhere OTL))
(( Nahhh it's cute x'D ))
(( Iggy would love to give HK a name of Daniel! 8D ))
(( 8Db it's added to my list of names of Hk's engrish names. ))
"Hm." He decided that the conversation needed no more pursuit, and turned his attention completely to his novel, acting as if the other boy
[[-Nuzzles- No apologies. /Would be equally if not more embarrassed if did such a thing]]
Eiríku took the sudden attention change as a 'shut up' to him, so he just went back to his thoughtful stare at the air right in front of
him. Sometimes closing his eyes as if he was falling asleep. At some points he did want to bring up a conversation again, but simply
He noticed he'd gotten at least halfway through his book in complete silence, and Michael looked up to find the male with his eyes shut, and
looking like he was half-asleep. So of course he couldn't resist sneaking up on the Icelandic boy and leaning to his ear before husking out
a quiet "...Boo." He couldn't help it...
hadn't fallen asleep, but was drifted far enough to not notice the other one sneaking close. One thing he did notice was the 'Boo' alright.
He made a startled shout, and fell in the opposite direction. Looking at Michael ((THAT I GOT RIGHT THIS TIME, SEE)) with wide eyes and a
surprised blush painted across his face.
