Torterra, Swampert, Sceptile, Flygon, Aerodactyl, Aggron.
The theme is "Pokemon that look like dinosaurs."
A lot of it is also based on how I imagine they'd move and battle.
Like, Torterra is an Ankylosaur, so he probably moves big and slow, unless he charges.
Plus I like to envision their attacks manifesting as more physical motions and extensions of their bodies.
INRADESTING (no, really, interesting!)
I've put a lot of thought into Pokemon would actually function irl. >.>
Like I imagined a battle between a Torterra and a Swampert
there was a lot of things that could be construed as earthbending
also a lot of physical contact, like the Torterra charging and the Swampert sort of catching his head and trying to stop him
and then climbing on his back
Pokemon battles should be dynamic
a battle between a Torterra and a Swampert would definitely be awesome... aside from Swampert's 4x weakness to grass >_>
THAT THE ONE WITH YELLOW?
fucking cut a arbok in half jesus christ
IT'S THE MANGA, IT'S EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR, IT IS ALSO HOW THE CREATOR OF THE GAMES ACTUALLY ENVISIONED POKEMON
OH SHIT GOTTA LOOK THAT UP
and yeah I guess Swampert does have a 4x grass weakness...
it's a bit derp, but it gets seriously awesome
Red/Blue was okay, Yellow was rad, and from there it just kind of got better and better
I think I've read upi through when Red defeats Blue in the Pokemon league?
I have physical copies of that
Yellow a boy or a girl? I can't remember.
Yellow was revealed to be a girl at the end of the Yellow arc
I couldn't remember how many levels of reverse psychology they were employing there
FFFFFF WHY IS PROFESSOR OAK WORKING ON A DS.
