She's cleaning out my Granny's house (Granny and her husband have been on a mission for 2 years), and it's *horrid*.

My aunt has decided not to help, my uncle promised to but bailed at the last moment, and my mum is stressed and working far too hard.

to help but it's not a safe environment for the kids.

can only work hard in her own home this weekend so Mum doesn't try to do anything here.

My Granny and her husband will be home at the end of the month. They're in their early 80's and apparently put away dirty dishes in the

cupboards, that sort of thing. It's been quite the adventure for my poor folks!

But they came back to a clean house and we relaxed and watched some old Vicar of Dibley episodes my mum had never seen and laughed

ourselves silly and ate cake.

they don't get done either has to not get done, or they have to pay someone to do it.

Like scrubbing the scads of bird poop off the glass panels of the sizable deck. Urgh.
