For me it's the latter. Although I was gifted with a skein, I have yet to knit it.

dont have & probably wont have any Wollmeise. It fun to see others enjoy great yarns.

I'd really love to know what the big deal is. Colors look great, but I dye. Twist and shine look lovely...but, meh?

completely understand. Though I must say I LOVE what I have!

I love deeply intense vibrant colors so I supersaturate and use an acid stabilizer. If that's the big whoopdeedoo then I'll pass.

I got one through a destash to try but I don't like the feels of it. And so not worth the money.
