start small...first week just get kids used to saying hello to each other and passing it on. The next day, maybe a different language

then ask the student of the day if they have any issues they'd like to bring up. I used to do this. Have changed to something else, though

Get them to start sharing what they find important too. You may need to corral it to some specific categories.

See if you can't wrangle in some volunteers to run the show.

Even if they work in pairs and rehearse the afternoon before.
