I'm going to make them go through what I've gone through too, even if its unpleasant. " Do you think it is fair? Discuss.
unless it hones their skills/makes them become better or whatever.
unless you have a perfectly good reason for doing so. which doesn't include personal vendettas.
Honestly, I don't want my juniors to go through PW........ so nope. Not fair at all.
So what if lets say in uni, where you are year3/4s, and you get priority in choosing your modules, and the year 1/2s are having trouble
getting even 2 modules to study for the ENTIRE semester. Are you gonna be fine with it, given that more priority is given to you.
I think that one is a different thing altogether. Firstly, Year 3/4s should be given priority considering that they're gonna graduate
already so they should be allowed to select modules more pertinent to their courses. Secondly, these seniors should also be given priority
as modules can serve as a creative outlet in their hectic school life. Third, well, the Year 1/2s don't exactly "suffer" since they are
going to have their turn when they become Year 3/4s. Although, on a side note, I do think that such a practice is derived from the culture
of respecting higher authority. For now, in my humble opinion, I wouldn't mind having two irrelevant modules if it means that I get to pick
my modules in the future, for real.
In summary, you're willing to pay the SAME amount of school fees, for e.g 6k per sem to study 2 modules where others study more and pays
Uh yes because I can study those modules in a few years?
has it ever occurred to you that it is a snowball effect? yes, they need their priority.
but what u did not manage to take will result in u having to overload modules. which may result in u scoring badly.
ultimately affecting ur honours. or even worst case scenario, delayed graduation. priority is not so much of an issue.
it's the number of classes they offer.
This I cannot go on anymore as I have no firsthand experience, and neither do I have any primary accounts. She can debate with someone
else. Anyway if such a system shouldn't be in place then how would you suggest improving it?
Yeah she submitted solutions proposal and shoot all the way up. She didnt complain like some other singaporeans, she did smth about it
Im not sure with her proposal etc. But now the year3/4 are not happy dunno for wad.
Yeah okay but what was her suggestion about?
Not really clear about her proposal. But apparently her faculty was doing things VERY different from others.
Her faculty, or maybe is just her course, does NOT allocated core modules to students. They have to FIGHT for core modules
Its like asking you to fight for your subject combi. You get it finished in the 2 years gd, if not, you cant graduate.
she in FASS or something?
