The library here's got nothing on programming, what a shame.
reading a book about wizards, just for fun. She hadn't yet noticed her not-so-favourite Russian was here too.
isn't the only one here. There were a few others searching for help with their homework. Which the library had - but nothing on servers_
_or networking schematics. A chart of those in the building would've certainly come in help, but now it seemed like she'd have to draw one.
would doubt the majority of students here wanted books on that anyways. She sighs lightly, glancing up from her book, only to notice the
blonde. She's quick to hide behind her book again, though peeking over at her, thinking she'd need to keep an eye on her.
took a sheet of paper - why was it light blue? It didn't matter, anyways - and began sketching the schematics. There were a few workstations
that weren't connected, she'd have to get them linked somehow. Perhaps somebody could help...? She shook her head and bent down over the
chart some more. Help meant interference.
watches her, curious what she was doing. She could never shake her paranoid suspicious of the Russian. She bookmarks her spot, and
puts the book down, quietly making her way over to peek over the girl's shoulder, trying not to be noticed.
didn't know how many terminals there were in the staff rooms, which might be a problem. She needed all available terminals on her chart.
Woe betide any twentieth-century machines in the basement. If they got disabled, it wasn't really her problem. She smiled and continued_
_mapping. She didn't really have anything planned for the school network - she had nothing to gain nor challenge her. Something for fun?
frowns when she sees what Anya was drawing out, instantly thinking the Russian must be planning all the worst things. And she felt she had
better stop it. But how.... She glanced around, realizing she couldn't hide in the ceiling and didn't have any weapons on her....
stops drawing. "Can I help you, Sakura?" She hoped she'd pronounced the name properly. She'd come across the name on her perusal of the
school records earlier in the week. /Sakura Honda/. She wondered if she was part of the school Council; they had a propensity for
looking over her shoulder when she was drawing a schematics chart.
((Hey uhm the school event is running as part of main story eh >3< The nations are still themselves and will remember it afterwards.))
[I know. <3 But Anya doesn't say Sakura's name often, just 'JAPAN!' at the World Meetings... when and if she attends them...]
((Oh okay ;u; just sounded like AU so I thought I'd make sure))
[Personalities differ between the two. Anya is a lazy pennypincher who thinks hacking counts as a sport.
Yay for summarization.]
isn't a part of the council, she had enough responsibility as a nation without helping out a high school of capable people. She startles a
little when adressed, noting how weird her name sounded on the other's tongue. "....n-no, I am merely wondering what exactly you are working
on. It doesn't look like any sort of homework for this school..." she tries to not sound too suspicious, but that's a little hard.
"Right there, /yaponskaye/. It isn't homework. It's meant to be a creative project." Not much creativity. "This is, er, part of the sketches
, simply preliminary stuff." Yes, by the slightly peeved look on her face it was quite obvious she'd got the name wrong.
simply wasn't used to hearing her human name come from the other. She looks over the drawings a bit skeptically. "....it looks
more like a map than a creative project...."
paused for a bit. "Perhaps it's a mapping project. I'm mapping the server networks in this building. Connecting all the computers."
"So," she proceeded, warily, "if anything strikes I can figure out where the bug came from quicker than I would be tracking it through the
network." She shrugged. "Or maybe this is just for fun."
stares, obviously not believing this was a harmless project. "I see...." She definitely still thought it was suspicious and still help the
idea that everything Russia did was likely inherently evil.
put her pencil down and looked Sakura in the eyes, smiling. "I'll say it again. Do you need any help with anything?" To be honest
the chart was boring her terribly now, and she couldn't imagine what Honda found so interesting about it.
trying to figure out what evil scheme for world domination Russia was doing now, of course. She frowns, looking away when Anya looked up.
"No, of course not.." she mumbles, taking a seat near but not next to Anya so she could keep an eye on her.
brought her head down to the desk and kept it there. Everybody seemed to want to keep an eye on her all of a sudden, from Dmytro to that
Brit boy whose name kept slipping her mind and now this silent Japanese girl who seemed inherently suspicious of everything she'd drawn.
Unless, of course, they thought this was another - /another/? - plan for world domination. Tsars had tried and failed.
Heaven knew world domination would come on its own, and soon enough by the looks of the market.
just... constantly suspicious of the other. She goes back to her book, though glancing occasionally at Anya, wondering why she kind
rolls up the chart, stuffs it away under the desk and leaves. Maybe she could stuff her head under the pillow in her dorm room or something.
And heaven help her roommate if she seemed as particular as everybody she'd met so far.
blinks at this, watching her go. She felt a little bad, thinking she had insulted the Russian too much... though she had acted no
differently than usual. She sighs, wondering if she should follow and try to apologize....
