an interesting observation: Plurk's nested comments make it easier to respond directly to other Plurks.
latest #38
HOWEVER - Plurk's timeline-based organization makes it EXTREMELY HARD to keep track of said Plurk threads
It's actually MUCH easier to respond to someone when they create a new plurk, rather than respond to your old one.
...but Plurk tells you when you have new plurks
like, I mean, new responses to old plurks
but I still have to scroll ALLLLLLL THE WAY BACK THERE.
ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the WAAAAAAAAY back there.
when it shows up in the lower left corner as "x new responses View"
click view and it will immediately pull up only plurks with new responses
but when there are 25 new responses
ALLLL THE WAAAAAY Back THERE
I'd argue that it's still much easier to just view new plurks
I have no real issues with the scrolling though
mostly I do the "refresh unreads" on my phone
hahahaa yeah it can be kind of annoying
....mobile view, maybe? sometimes I find it way easier to deal with than timeline
haha, mobile view looks like twitter
yeah, it does, but I love it when I'm viewing on the iPad
