oh no!! Are you able to get someone to repair it, today?

that's not good!

it stopped this morning. We are going to try to start it up after I pick up the boys (1/2 day). We've had this problem before with

this unit. And we are out of warranty now. Stupid builder put in one that was the minimum for this house size and when it works too

hard (heater or a/c) then it breaks. This is like the 4th time in the last couple of years. We need to buy a new and bigger one.

if we are still having problems this afternoon, then we are calling the repair guy. I'm hoping he has the part needed.

otherwise we'll be bundling up...I hope the bird will be warm enough. I might need to stick her in the kitchen with the oven door open.

it was 76ºF in the house this morning before the heater went off. It is now 71ºF and dropping. I'm crossing my fingers the heater will

work when I try to turn it on this afternoon. I've already had to put a towel over the bird cage. The poor thing was shivering a little.

Right now it's not too bad, but it will be by tonight if it doesn't come on

I don't want her to freeze. She's not one to fly much (she's just learning she can) so she doesn't move around to create her own warmth.

and cannot go anywhere to get warm. So we have to keep her warm if it gets too cold.

she can get sick and die because she's not used to the colder temps. She could take probably down to 60-65 degrees tops.
