stops to wave at Zoe when he sees her.

blinks and waves back a little. "G'day..." Awkward, what?

he looks around a little but stepping closer to her. "A-are you drawing people?" He doesn't attempt to look at her sketchpad.

"And the greenery. Not just the people." People tended to be boring to draw. "I could draw you if you want, though."

about that. "I-I don't think I would be a very interesting subject..."

pouts a little. "Everyone can be an interesting subject. You just have to... try?" That made more sense in her head...

doesn't understand. "Try how?"

"Um... Like... sit down!" Gestures next to her and studies him. "And then... do something... interesting!"

sits down awkwardly. "Umm..." He feels silly just thinking about it. "Like..." he poses a little.

studies him hard and then shakes her head. "Don't pose, you look silly. Um... Here, have some toast." Holds some of her vegemite-covered

toast out to him.

takes the toast from her. "...What that stuff on it?" He looks at it closely.

"Vegemite. It's really good. And good for you too!" ... and she is one of only a handful of people who thinks it tastes good... -_-;

never heard of it. "S-so you want me to take a bite of it or just hold it..?"

considers her options. "... eat it. It's definitely better if you eat food."

stares at it for a second before taking a bite, getting some crumbs on his face.

watches him attentively, trying to draw some inspiration from this. ... sighs. "How do you like it?"

doesn't care for it much but he eats Finland's cooking and in comparison... "It's not bad, I've never had anything like it before."

"Hmm." Smiles a little. "It's my favorite." Starts sketching idly. "What's your favorite?"

about it as he wipes his mouth off. "Ham with rye bread is my favorite."

erases a couple of lines then keeps drawing. "That's sounds really tasty..."

nods. "They're like the staple of my country, along with grey peas."

"Grey peas?" Looks intently at his face, and then at her sketch.

fidgets. "W-well you have to have vegetables too..." He feels kind of silly for mentioning it at all.

nods a few times. "They're good for you." Hmms softly. "What's your favorite color?" Starts digging in her bag.

"Red," without hesitation, "though... more like maroon.." he adds a little hesitantly after.

"So... a darker red?" Pulls out some colored pencils and sorts through them, holding up a maroon one. "Like this?"

looks at it and nods. "J-ja, like that."

smiles and starts using that instead of her regular pencil on the sketch. "It's a pretty color. I think it suits you."

smiles a little. "Really? It's the color I like to wear the most."

"Then it's perfect." Scribbles frantically. "Um... how about... your favorite time of day?"

to think about that one. "Umm I guess somewhere in the middle of the day..." It was scarier when it was dark...

nods and throws a few more lines on and then... holds the paper towards him. "There! I drew you!" Drew him with little maroon

vines growing all around him.

looks at the picture. "Wow that's really good"

smiles. "Thanks." Pauses. "You can have it if you want." Starts tearing the page out.

looks surprised. "A-are you sure? You're the one who made it..." Then again, he didn't think anyone would really want his picture.

"I made it because of you." Rips it out and holds it out to him. "So here."

can't argue with that. "Well thank you, I'll put it up somewhere."

takes it.

smiles a little at him and closes up her sketchbook. "You're welcome." Hugs her book close.

sets the paper in his lap. "So do you draw a lot?"

nods and kicks her feet just a little. "Not as much as I paint, but... I still like drawing."

that's cool. "Oh, you should show me your paintings some time."

"You'd have to come over to see them." She's not lugging them all over the place to show people.

had already assumed that. "If you don't mind... I-I'll try not to be too much trouble."

smiles at him. "I don't mind. I like having company."

smiles a little, "O-oh okay, I'll come by some time, then"

nods. "Good. Um, make sure you let me know when you're coming first, though."

nods back. "Right, I will."

pauses and then gets to her feet. "I think I'm gonna wander around a little before I go home."
