Why had she agreed to come here in the first place?
It was like a nightmare brought to life! She was jumpy at the best of time, but now even the slightest noise was enough to drive her into _
panic. And there were plenty of noises around to do just that. It seemed like they were never ending, not even putting her hands over her _
ears, closing her eyes and trying to blank everything out worked.
walking around randomly trying to find something that could be useful of getting out of this place or at least the source of what was_
keeping them in. However, she had happened by chance to see the younger girl and was filled with worry now. "Läti?"
jumps, feeling her heart speed up as she's filled with dread. She opens one eyelid tentatively, then sighs with relief as she sees a _
friendly face. "E-Evelin... I thought you were a monster." Her voice is tiny, not speaking loudly in case she attracts unwanted attention.
"I'm glad that I'm not." She would have rather had anyone else find Rozalija than one of the creatures finding her. "Are you alright?_
Physically I mean." She tags the last sentence on since it definitely did not seem alright in the other sense.
"I think so. I-I'm not hurt, a-anyway. I think." Shivering, she pulls her jumper tighter around herself. She's not sure if it's actually _
cold, or if she's just imagining it.
sighs slightly at that. "That's good at least." She, on the other hand, had gotten hurt a few times, but she paid no mind to those. "Are_
you cold?" she asks after seeing the other shiver.
"N-no." she answers, not wanting to look silly in front of the other, who didn't seem to be feeling the cold.
"Are you sure?" she asked not too convinced. She wouldn't think the other would look silly admitting she was cold. Eve was just used to the_
also used to the cold, but not the cold in this house - it was unnatural, creeping cold instead of the cold she would frequently feel in_
her home. "A little bit." she admits.
should have considered that at first. She looks around for a moment making sure there was nothing odd before turning her attention back to_
the other. "Would you like something warm then?"
She would love something warm, but she doesn't want to make the other cold in the process. "Only if you'll still be warm."
"Well, I was thinking just seeing if I could make some tea or find a blanket unless you have something else in mind."
"N-no, that's fine with me." Anything that would beat away the chill is fine with her.
"Well, this way then." She was sure there was some tea somewhere in the kitchen.
follows Evelin worreidly, looking at every nook and cranny they pass in the fear that something undesirable is going to be there.
remains more focused on getting to the kitchen though hoping to not pass by any of the creatures she has seen.
despite her worries, she's glad to be navigating this place with someone that she trusts.
glad to mostly have found the other. Her safety was one of Eve's biggest concerns especially with all the things about the place...
hears a sudden noise and jumps, grabbing Evelin's arm in a death grip. "D-Did you hear that?!"
nods lightly as she looks around for anything. "Yeah, just stay close."
presses herself to close to the other girl that it looks like they could almost be conjoined twins, relaxing her grip on the other's_
arm the tiniest bit in the hopes of not cutting off circulation to her poor friend's lower arm.
doesn't mind the younger girl's grip much as she moves quietly towards the kitchen with her hand on a beat-up bag.
