I ordered one for my wife and it should be delivered on Nov. 15; however, no real comparison to Ipad. Simple things only: web, books, etc.

It should be much like the Google Chromebook in terms of being married to all Google apps. Only the Fire will be married to all Amazon apps.

I hope this will help. I am not sure of true abilities, but it will be what my wife needs. I grabbed a Chromebook for me (I need a keyboard)
