Kris - the secret to clutch control is ... "don't think about it". Just release HALF, then release all. When u step, step FULL in.

ie, step fully in, change gear, release halfway to let the gear "click" then release full.

u will jerk the car initially but after a few practice of this, u will learn to release slowly to stop the car jerking
