though my ps gets angry at polish characters instead :/ i gotta copypaste 'em from notepad every. single. time.

anyway, while typing i just open the language bar -> japanese -> hiragana and go as usual. 'twas pretty unintuitive till i got used to it.

what font, though? because the ones I have show up as SQUARE SQUARE SQUARE

you should have ms mincho and ms gothic installed with ime already, those do the trick
