I think it depends on the lecture format. If the students are listening, watching and interacting with the content online, why couldn't that

does it depend on your definition of lecture? giving notes or modeling problem solving?

sometimes giving any notes in class is a pain....kids at different places at diff times..."wait I haven't written it all down yet"

with a video they can get it at their own speed and replay what they need

then in class we have more time to get deeper into things....practice with teacher available to help

I'm curious, too. In my former school, the home environment wasn't conducive to learning for many kids.

I think at the end of the day it will come down to how its managed and guided by the adults. I think their is lots of potential.
