also I should win an award for number of times Plurk Nirvana has be RE-acheived
It's okay, I'm sure there were only a few hundred. 8|a
I don't even know how to mark all as read
and really?? 8| I think that was the first thing I learned
I am so oc about stuff like that
I hate that little counter. B|
having my whole life on a counter at work probably exacerbates the situation
....I thought mark all as read was obvious. 8|a
Mine just shows up as a little option in the corner, same as the place that tells me when there's new responses.
ahhh. I knew you couldn't mean Original Character
as in-- I am not diagnosed with the disorder, but have several symptoms, and thus possible misuse it as slang.
that shows how long I have been out of RP
;^; /has like two more minutes or internet
I need to take a freaking day off that isn't a house-cleaning guest-inviting day.
I was thinking fic, not RP, but I guess it works for both.
OH yes, yes. this is true.
and I have been writing fic!
but there is one I am actually almost proud of
although it got a LOT bigger than I planned, and I worry I won't finish it e__e
sdjk Mine doesn't seem to show up there, but I'm sure it's around someplace
Ooh, cool! What fandom and characters?
yes ^__^ ...it is a Princess Tutu fic for a friend
I rewatched it over Christmas with my sister
and ALWAYS wanted to do an epilogue story
with the ballet, opera, and fairy tales they didn't use in the show
so this one will combine elements of Rapunzel, The Snow Queen, and Seven Swans
and sort of flesh out the writer/reality mythology of the world that's in the show
as well as how the town was afterward. 'cause I wondered. especially if Fakir is the only one who remembers anything
go Snow Queen! /perhaps my favourite fairy tale
and has no one to talk to about it
(my favorite is Little Mermaid)
The other two are great, too. And more writer/reality stuff sounds brilliant
I am excited 8] and will post it in parts after I send it to my friend and ohcrap I am late B|
/RUNS TO MALL EXIT NICE TALKING TO YOU GUYS \o
And oh man, you must link this when it's done.
And yes, seconding that link request!
...whoo, it feels good to be able to say this now with Princess Tutu.
It was my Big Unwatched Show for so long. Now I guess it might be Cowboy Bebop or Tiger & Bunny or... actually lots of others too
Both of those shows are great. /watched them both for the first time recently
But Cowboy Bebop has a really sad ending, doesn't it?
That doesn't make it any less good. In some ways, I think it might make it better. 8|a
It has a very unique way of storytelling, coming from the type of shows I usually watch.
It does make me feel less enthusiastic about seeking it out to watch, though.
Trust me, it's definitely worth it. Plot, characters, storytelling, art - the music. It more than makes up for it, I think.
Everyone says this but nothing I hear specifically about the characters has piqued my interest so far.
I think I tend to have fogey tastes in music. Lots of AMVs do nothing for me, for instance
...er, sorry to sound so negative.
I'm no connoisseur, but sure, there are jazz pieces I really like!
Often when recorded by Louis Armstrong.
Well there's no Louis Armstrong, it's all original, but every episode has a jazz style theme. It's even in the episode titles.
