brother's Mafia types pick locks would help, but nope, and now he's up a tree, with not only Germany's present puppy, but Seraphina as well_
, trying to crack the window open without any one of the three of them falling, since the door wasn't working. All around a bad idea. But _
at least he tried! ...right?
Okay. He's starting to wish he hadn't tried now, really, because puppies are wiggly. And trees are hard to stay balanced in. And he's _
starting to have some serious difficulty keeping himself from toppling. wobbles slightly and gives a little cry, clinging to the branch. Oh_
this was this was this was a bad idea!
sighs, leaning against his chair as he tries to disperse the grogginess that now shrouds his eyes as a result of staring at size-ten
typed writing for much too long, and stands to stretch out his aching back a bit. Glancing at the clock atop his desk, he is sure to jot
down a mental note to get back to work after an hour of break. He is just about to go to the kitchen to make himself a cup of something with
lots of caffeine, when a sharp cry of distress draws his attention outside. A frown settles on his lips as he steps out, wondering just who
it is...when he sees that familiar curl of hair, and it with a mixture of disbelief and concern that he yells out, "Italy! What do you think
isn't quite sure how to answer that. What did he think he was doing? Being stuck in a tree, for one, but somehow he didn't think that was _
the answer Germany was looking for. Holding puppies, that was certainly something he was doing too. And freaking out a little, though now _
that his friend and protector was here he was starting to calm down a bit. Germany could fix anything right? Right! So at least he wasn't _
freaking out as much any more. So what was he doing? Hmm... "Uhm, well I was trying to give you a surprise because I didn't see you on _
Christmas but then the door was locked and I couldn't figure out how to open it but I've seen a window get forced open before so I thought _
maybe I could do that to get in and surprise you but I think the window's locked too and I can't even reach it and these guys are really _
squirmy and I'm really, really stuck so I think that's what I'm doing! Being stuck! And it's really high up and scary so could you maybe _
come and get me down please? Per favore Ludwig?"
watches with increasing exasperation as he listens to the string of words that sound as if they were spoken without them being processed
first, feeling a strange warmth spark in his chest at how much effort Italy seems to have put into this...break in, and he can only shake
his head with light amusement. "I'll go get a ladder," he says, giving the puppies (that he's noticing for the first time) a long staring at
before sprinting towards the nearby shed. Honestly, only Italy would do something as reckless as that in the name of a surprise and still
appear strangely at home stuck in a tree; or maybe it's just him. But he's sure to throw a loud, "And for God's sake, try and stay
still!" before he decides that he won't lock any of his windows from now on.
couldn't help but let out a wail of, "But I caaaaaaaant!" out at that. Honestly, how could he possibly stay still with an armful of _
wiggly excited Seraphina + Nameless Brother Pup? It was hard enough for him to stay still as it was - he was reduced to half his normal _
talking speed by holding the dogs down with one arm, leaving only one to wave about as he had explained his situation, and already had to_
pause repeatedly to catch one or both of them up, since he hadn't had the foresight to, say, put them in a carrier or anything. No. He'd _
brought leashes and collars - ones that he'd decorated himself to match their flags~~ - but nothing actually helpful for restraining the _
little things while in his current situation! Sometimes Feliciano just had trouble keeping his mind straight and thinking things through..._
But at least he tried to stay still, as per instructions, trembling slightly in his position up among the branches.
