Um... WHAT. I'm pretty sure you don't get the credit if you're the one that crashed the ship in the first place.
hear hear. And the cowardly bastard took a life boat to safety without making sure the passengers knew how to evacuate.

There were transcripts of the coast guard calling him repeatedly asking if everything is all right, and he tells them everything is fine
twice! He never alerted them to a problem until they called him a third time and then finally he told them they abandoned ship. I tried
to give him the benefit of the doubt (he claims the ship threw him into the water, and I suppose it would be physically difficult to get
back on board, but that quote above just sealed it for me. There's something wrong with that man and he's accountable for all those deaths.
