It is an awesome school, great people, innovational admin, and all the kids are above average.

It would be great if I were qualified!

What are Kansas requirements for Tech Coordinator? What certifications do you need?

Are you going back to the classroom full time?

AndyCT: you could handle it, if I could.

missfitz For this position you only need a teacher's certificate and a little experience. Interested?

MrMike: Yep. Assuming they find a replacement. I asked to go back to teaching and I hope it will be in the 5th/6th PBL class.

I hope they find a replacement so you can get back into the classroom. I moved back into the classroom and have much less crisis.

I have both of those, a little less on tech coordinator and more "problem solving and getting things to work" end I would take a look!

I read the opening post and know that Newton is looking for a Director of Technology too. Tuff decisions as I am split.

the post did focus quite a bit on wire/pliers of the Tech Coordinator position. Typically, those descriptions turn out to be more that way
dmantz7 says

than allowing for focus on integration. But that is my opinion based on previous experiences.

missfitz & dmantz7 This is a small school and great place to work. The network is pretty sound now. Need some new equipment, but
mnelson438 says

but not too challenging. I am just a poor ole Math teacher turned techy, so either of you could do it. Lots of support from the local IP.

We are very heavy on the Mac side and will be pushing to get the iPads going big. Most of my day is in the "putting out fires" category,
mnelson438 says

but I do get into the classrooms quite a bit. I will still be there train, support, and explain my screw ups :-D
