We've tried that. The teachers have called each parent. We've tried door prizes. We just don't have very good turn out.

Ugh. I was at a MS once that had this trouble. We had kids schedule times with parents. The kids made the appointments. As it got down to

the wire (1 week before), kids were calling parents from school to set up a time THEN. Slow parents were embarrassed, but were there.

We rescheduled with parents who couldn't be there on those dates for the couple days before/after.

Fall attendance rates stayed solid at around 60%. Our Spring went from like 30% to 89% attendance.

I followed that general model at TPLC, only we did it Spring and Fall and we always shot for 100%. I think missed it 2x in 5yrs.

I've had her son all 3 years of his hs career so far and she said that he signed up for 2 more classes next year.
