So I was working up in the attic, and going through boxes...

And I came downstairs and ran into him and told him "The mice have been chewing on Plato's Republic."

Which they have been. Just the corner of the book, but I was O_O when I found it.

His response: "That's about what he deserves."

WHICH WAS WHAT I WAS THINKING.

Apparently I have poetically ironic mice. I may have to give them some cheese and walnuts for this.

Or just let them eat the rest of the book.
