There was a monster in there to represent her Id. My son asked me what an Id was, so I explained that it was the part of him that wanted.

and that sometimes it could cause him to do bad things to fulfill those wants or desires. My son is only 5 so I kept it simple.

Later on, he growled at me because he wasn't getting what he wanted. Whining and growling is a BIG no-no so I sent him to his room.

On his way to his room, he yelled "But my Id made me do it"
