finally made the decision to drop from War Dawn. It's a lovely game, but recently I've just not had time or inclination
to be online in the evenings.
A lot of it is that I've been out, or dealing with sick mother, but a big part I think is that I just don't have enough time to keep up with
a big game. Plus, timezones. I simply cannot be up till 2,3am any more. Job does not allow for it.
Anyway. It's a bit sad, because the game's got great players, but eh. I hate it when people sit on characters, so I'm not going to do so too
Summary: Blargh. I need to quit being tempted by multi-user big games and stick with email rp.
LJ/DW RP is very friendly for time constraints, though. I tag with people who live all over the world.
They tag when they can; I tag when I can, and it's awesome.
I wouldn't even know where to start to find one honestly! One that frowned on AIM logging anyway.
Because relaxed like what you said above is ideal.
There aren't any TF only games out there, alas.
I'll check it out, thank you.
Bonus points for it being on DW too!
The application is very similar to the kinds you'd write for most LJ/DW games.
I'll probably give myself some time to get into a better headspace for potential app failure!
I can show you both of mine (I play Wing and Hudson there) so you can get an idea what works.
That would be cool, thank you.
Most journal-based RPs I can think of have made the switch to DW!
I would recommend one, but most of the small games I've joined have ballooned into monster-sized ones.
I feel you on everyone else's prime tagging hours seeming to be when you're already in bed and fast asleep, too. :/
