I have a nook, but the size is fine, especially since I can zoom in.

"mine" defaults to best fit, which is on the small side. but when I zoom in they don't fit right. :/ - it's not actually mine, its on loan

for me to test out. I see a lot in things like the WLK books and Little Red from Ysolda

but basically any PDF when set to best fit, will have me squinting as I age

a lot of times i turn it to fit the width instead and use it that direction.

like rotated so the height of the device is the width of the document.

I found that setting, and that definitely helped some.

Orchid22 what made you decide on a Nook?

Well, at the time, it was the only one that was in color. I waited two years for them to come out with a color Kindle and within 2 months

of buying my Nook, they did.

ahh that's just like them I am having that overall problem with the electronics I want to buy right now. No one seems to have

exactly what it is that I want. I think I may go with the Kindle Touch for myself so that when I turn it landscape there won't be a keyboard

hanging off to the side and making it look like it's really sideways. I am sticking away from the color stuff on purpose for this

purchase. Some day when I'm independently wealthy and/or the iPad I want drops in price by 50% I will probably get one of those for color
