fairly sizable primary branch just fell onto my house... scared the shit out of the cats, about to go look for damage.
left a message for the landlord, no obvious damage. Tree does appear dead though and should probably come down.

NOAA issued a hail/high winds/tornadoes alert for mid Texas up through Salina Kansas for the weekend.
it wasn't that windy when it happened... although it would have for sure later this afternoon when it did get gusty.

The maint. guy "just" dealt with it today... like a month later. I think my landlord was out of town.
