passing by, when he spots the Irish, an quickly tilts his head. "Scotland? What happened?" he shouts, sure he's the other, almost-nordic_
turns to glance back bitterly at the other nation. 'Do I look like a feckin' Scotsman to you?' He kicks his door hard, accidently bruising_
his toes in the process. He swears loudly and turns around fully. 'What do you doing 'round these parts, uh...' He stares. He knew it was_
one of those Nords but there were so many... 'Nor-Iceland?'
frowns. "I don't look like him, even!" he groans, shaking his head. "I'm Finland!" he adds proudly, approaching the other. "And I'm sorry,_
I don't talk to Scotland in a long time, and you are similar... You're Ireland, then?" he scratches his neck.
folds his arms, studying him as he approaches. 'I knew that,' He lies, and then looks insulted. 'What? Me, look like that sexless girl?_
Feck off, I'm nothing like him.' He nods confidently. 'And yeah, Ireland. Best feckin' nation this side of the continent.' Even through the_
pain in his foot, he still gives a flirty wink in the Finnish lad's direction.
blushes weakly at the wink, shaking his head after. "I'm nothing like Islanti either..." he adds, walking closer and leaning against the_
wall. "And no you didn't... People are only thinking about me right now because Nightwish recorded a new album." he winks back, but it_
isn't exactly flirty. "That's your home?" he points.
to admit, seeing the blush creep onto the other's cheeks cheers him up greatly and he suddenly finds the lad much more interesting -_
especially with the returned wink. Cute. He laughs, 'Any publicity is good publicity, right?' He quite enjoyed Nightwish... 'Yeah, trouble_
I was a feckin' eejit and locked myself out. There's a window open there but I'm not small enough to get through it.' He studies Finland's_
laughs a bit. "It happens to all of us." he shrugs, following the other's eyes and quickly spotting the window. "I can pass by there, but_
it's a bit high." he hums, cursing the fact he was so short, especially among his brothers.
thankful Finland offered. He wasn't one to naturally ask for help. 'I'll give you a lift.' He says quickly, setting his cheeky smile in_
place as he slid up to his side.
nods, turning to him. "Right, put your hands like that." he instructs, gesturing. "I'll use it as a leverage and put my feet on them." he_
smiles. Itt would be enough for him to jump and catch the windowsill.
sets his hands out and kneels down a little. 'There y'are.' He is fairly certain Finland is small and slight enough for him to easily_
places his feet on his hand, resting his hand on the other's shoulder until he has enough balance. Then he places a hand on the wall and_
opens the windows, quickly jumping an sneaking in. Thank war and having to crawl in small places to shoot for that. "I'm in, where is the_
key?!" he shouts once he lands.
helps him balance as much as he can and his grin widens when the lad successfully gets inside. 'In the bowl by the front door!' He calls_
moves a bit and takes the key from the bowl, fumbling a bit before he opens the door wide, grinning and saluting. "Mission Complete!"
'Ha!' He steps in, feeling like he won a war against his previously inaccessible home. 'Brilliant! Well done, Finland.' He pulls Tino's_
head towards him and kisses his forehead.
squirms in surprise at the sudden kiss, curling his hands on his back. "Ahm, Hm, you're welcome." he stutters, a bit surprised. Usually his_
brothers were picky even with small hugs, but he supposed people more south were more... open. "Call me Tino." he shrugs, bit more serious.
isn't one for being big on outward displays of affection, but that was mainly due to the fact his British brothers didn't support the notion
very much, but Finland seemed different. He grins at him and pulls him down the hall so he could pour him a thank you drink of whiskey. _
'Tino? Hmm.' He liked that name. 'Sounds doable, call me Brendan. Or Bren, your call.' He gets a couple of glasses out.
follows his, looking around a bit. "Brendan is fine." he nds to himself. "That's a beautiful house you have." he hums, waiting for the_
glasses. "Oh, you drink whiskey? I thought it was only Scotland." he laughs, staring around at the walls.
glows in pride of his homey atmosphere he tried to hard to create, and hoped that was what Tino was referring to. 'Cheers.' He pauses at_
his latter statement and turned on his heel to his new Finnish friend. 'Okay, if this relationship is going to work you have to be_
educated on the differences between Scots and Irish.' He didn't understand why so many nations confused their heritages... 'We have our own_
types of whiskeys. His is pish.' He smirks.
raises an eyebrow, amused. "Relationship? You're funny." he hums, nodding after. "Well, alright. His whiskey is piss, yours is good, next?"
's smirk widens. 'Of course, relationship, I take those types of things seriously. Consider yourself lucky I'm willing to get to know you.'_
he says in a joking tone. He pours the whiskey and hands Tino a glass before downing his own in one go. 'Next - you have to learn the_
difference in accents. Although I don't know the difference between your family, so I guess I shouldn't be too hard on you for that...'
laughs, smiling warmly at him. "Well, I feel lucky already." he beams, taking the glass in his hands. "What is to know about accents?" he_
hums, taking a small sip of the drink. It was good. "Oh, about us? I can give you some lessons later, but for now, all you need to know is_
that Finnish is really different from anything Denmark, Norway and Sweden speak. Even Iceland."
pours himself more. 'There's a huge difference! Scottish is nothing like Irish. Admittedly, yeah, they have similarities but you have to_
hear both and you'll notice...maybe I should get Greg over to yours someday?' He hums. 'We both come from large families, you and I. I_
don't think I could ever mistake you for the Dane. Feck, I don't like him. What's the difference with the others, though?'
((Ahh, as a Scot I want to give a good description about Scot-Irish differences but it's so difficult!!! >< ))
[[awwwn! pshhh, don't worry, I won't give much detail about fin and the other nordics. and yay for learning while rping.]]
nods. "You're both more than welcome at my house any day. It is colder, but... i think you two can stand it." he winks playfully, tapping_
a finger to his lips after. "Hmm... Ruotsi, Sweden, is very serious. He has the accent hardest to understand, but since he ruled over me_
for a while, I can understand him well. Norja is very quiet, but I like him a lot. He looks indifferent, and while Sweden's accent is_
more open and firm, Norja's is more light. Den is loud, and his words are very vivid, but a lot like Norja's. Ice... ice speaks more of an_
old form of norse... He's very temperamental, but means well." he hums, smiling after. "It's.. hard to tell us apart."
scratches his head. 'There's just so many of you...all up there.' He feels a little more guilty for purposely avoiding the Nords till now._
'I don't know, I'm pretty sure I won't mistake you for anyone else now.' He ruffles Tino's hair. 'Which is good, cause then I won't_
get into a drunken fight with you accidently thinking your one the others.'
laughs at his hair being ruffled, quickly fixing his beret after. "That's great, then." he smiles, sipping the whisky again. "And I don't_
think you could get into a druken fight with me, I can hold my alcohol better than all of them." he stands, proudly.
looks at him curiously. 'Really? Or do you just not drink as much?' He teases. As an Irishman, his standard drinking level was higher than_
arguably all other nations, and he liked to think of easy-drinkers as intelligent lightweights.
laughs. "I don't drink very often nowadays, but I have my Nordic pride." he grins widely. "I could outdrink anyone, any day of the week."
's eyes light up at the statement. 'Oh, is that so, aye?' He steps up to him. 'Sounds like a challenge to me. You game?'
narrows his eyes at him, before smiling. "Kyllä!" he hums, nodding quickly after and handing the other his empty glass of whisky. "But..._
how will I go home after?"
smirks at his response, thrilled to have found someone willing to have a drinking competition with him. 'You can stay here till you're_
sober enough to head home. Or we could do it at yours. I don't mind wandering home drunk - I do it on a regular basis from the pub.'
nods. "I'll stay, you'll propably die from the cold, and you don't speak Finnish." he laughs, cracking his knucles. He never had anyone_
to drink a lot with, save for his family but well, that was embarassing.
grins, sort of excited to have him stay over. He claps his hands together. 'Great, then we can get started?' He pours them another full_
glass each. 'Maybe you can teach me some swear words in Finnish as I drink you under the feckin' table, huh?'
laughs, taking his glass in a hand, shrugging. "Oh, trust me, I'll have enough time to tell you the whole story of Finland, even." he hums._
"Not that I think you'll be sober enough to listen." he hums, taking a seat next to the table where the bottle was.
his confidence. 'Ha! I can hold my alcohol longer than you can. Here's the plan: we both drink together and the first to get wasted is_
the loser, right?' He picks up his glass and tips it back to drink the lot.
nods, drinking pretty much the same amount as the Irish. "Great, so there's no cheating." he hums. "Alright, so you drink, I drink."
pours them more but swirls it around as he hops up onto the kitchen counter. 'I never cheat when it comes to drinking.' He smiles. 'Unless_
I want to get someone else drunk.'
pouts. "Is that the case?" he raises one eyebrow, watching him and taking another sip. "I hope not... That'd be very rude."
shrugs, sipping as if he was a mirrored image. 'Sometimes. For different reasons. Like, last time I got Art'r drunk so I could lock him_
in a closet for a weekend. He still has no idea it was me.' He laughs. 'Rude? Now do you really think I'm rude?' He smiles and winks.
laughs a bit at the joke, shaking his head after. "I can't even imagine it, must've been funny!" he laughs too, pausing at the wink. "What?_
No! I didn't mean that!" he quickly adds, going a bit red in the cheeks.
