saunters past the group of students hanging about but not sitting down yet in class. He steps up to Sadik and holds out a slip. 'I am_
now officially a student of yours, sir. Let the impressing begin, right?'
had been really immersed in what he was doing on the bored he was caught a bit off guard by the Greek. He places the chalk down and pats
his hand down on his pant leg before grabbing the slip and scanning over it. "So sure of yourself. This is by no means an easy class are you
sure you can keep to your word?"
looks over at the 'competition' in the class, and then turns back confidently turns back. 'Oh I'm certain. And because I'm so certain...' _
sits up on the desk nearest Sadik's desk. 'I'll be sitting right at the front - where you can't miss me.'
's lip curves up in a bit of a smirk-grin. His gaze follows the Greek to his desk and he turns to face him squaring his shoulders with the
desk and leaning forward so he can overshadow the small space Heracles is currently sitting in. "Challenge accepted." His features change to
something a little more mischievous and he lowers his voice so that only Heracles can hear. "But I won't make it easy for you by any
means," He smirks before pulling himself away to finish writing the rest of the key terms. He'd measure how smart the Greek is and push the
other to the best of his abilities but never to failure.
's eyes dance excitedly, sensing there were more in his words than others may think. He looks around, smirking when no one else seemed_
privy to their exchange, and then stretched out confidently. He pulled out his things and readied himself for the lesson, deliberately not_
letting anyone sit beside him - just in case they distracted Mr Sadik when he wanted attention.
finishes them and points to a word on the board. "Does anyone know this word. Constantinople?" He asks the class as he glances around, his
gaze remaining on Heracles for a little longer than necessary.
looks around and is stunned when other students just stare blankly. His hand shoots up. 'Constantinople was the capital city of the Eastern_
Roman Empire as well as the Ottoman Empire after that.' He announces, already planning to give an essay-long answer but then realises if_
*realises he doesn't even know if Sadik is the time of teacher who likes pupils answering without being asked so he just stares confidently.
had been staring around the classroom a little put out that it seemed as if no one knew the answer until he heard Heracles speak up. His
attention turns back to the Greek and he nods. "Correct. Now, can anyone guess what the strategic importance of this city was?"
once again has his hand up so fast his pen flies out his hand and hits the guy behind him on the head. 'It's location was perfect - It sat_
up on a rocky peninsula, so it was hard for enemies to attack, and supplies could easily be attained by the surrounding sea even through_
long sieges.' He wasn't one for answering in class, but he meant what he said about impressing his new teacher.
quirks a brow, the corner of his lip quirking up. "Correct. Again, Mr. Karpusi." He glances around the class who seem embarrassed they
didn't know as much. "Do you remember the year Constantinople fell to the Ottomans, Mr. Karpusi?"
can't hold back a proud smile hearing Sadik praise him like that - especially using Mr Karpusi - it made him feel liked by the Turk. _
'I believe that occurred in the May of 1453 CE, sir.' He could feel his classmates glare at him but he just smiled knowingly at Sadik.
chuckles. "Very precise, I just asked for the year but never hurts to know the month." He glances up at the clock and notices that there are
only five minutes left. "I'll dismiss you guys early since it's just the first day. Have a good lunch break." With that he turns around to
erase the terms on the board.
takes his time in packing his things as he stalls long enough for the rest of the class to leave. He then strides up behind Sadik and_
clears his throat. 'So, am I your prodigy yet?'
turns around and quirks a brow. "No, not yet. One class will not determine that unfortunately. You did well, but anyone from the Balkans
would know those answers."
's face falls but he understands. Back in Greece those types of facts were considered background facts. 'Okay. So what can I do to make you_
say 'wow'?' He sits up on the teachers desk.
chuckles. "If I told you that it would make it way to easy for you. I'm not that nice." He places the board eraser down as he examines him.
frowns, wishing the Turk was easier to read. 'No, you aren't. Fortunately I'm a great student so I'll find your Achilles heel and exploit_
it until you're gushing over me.' He smiles sweetly.
snorts. "So confident. I'm not Greek so there is no Achilles heel found anywhere on my body. You on the other hand, might be easy to break
if I do find that weakness."
rolls his eyes, smirking. 'Everyone has an Achilles heel. Maybe it's just the Greeks who are wise enough to know it. But even if that_
wasn't true, I assure you my weakness will be too hard to determine. You would impress me if you found it.
's eyes run over Heracles from head to toe before turning back around to finish cleaning the board. "Why the sudden drive to impress me
so? Do you show this kind of drive in all your other classes?"
smiles, liking the way the Turk seemed to study him so intently. He slips off the desk and stands just at Sadik's shoulder so close he's_
almost leaning on him. 'You interest me, I guess. I think I could learn a lot from you. None of my other classes hold my attention.'
freezes, he has half a mind to turn around and pull him closer but knows that would be considered inappropriate considering their age and
also the position he holds as the boy's instructor. "I have a lot to teach." He replies before glancing over his shoulder at Heracles and
finding him even closer than he had expected. His warmth was intoxicating.
something strikingly similar when he grazes over Sadik. He is surprised to find that he actually smelled very good. Trying not to appear_
weird, he looks at him when turns. 'Lucky for you I am more than willing to learn if you're willing to focus on me.' He surprises himself_
by letting slip he would like to be special to him.
turns around fully so they are practically chest to chest. He glances down at him trying desperately to restrain himself but those words and
lips were not making it easy. He doesn't respond at first, unsure of what to say. "I'm willing...."
heat of some sort radiating between them and hopes it isn't just him. He stares at Sadik unable to look away even though he thinks he_
((AAAAH! Sorry, got distracted watching the football and I thought I sent it ><))
really ought to. He glances down at his lips. 'I don't expect you to go easy on me, though.' He reaches up and unconsciously 'fixes' the_
's brow quirks at the Greeks action but doesn't mind it at all. "I'm going to make this as hard for you as I possibly can." He -
replies. "When would you like to start." He doesn't move but neither does he push to get closer.
isn't sure why but he grows steadily more excited with his promise. He hums, hand lingering around Sadik's shoulder. 'Whenever suits you._
Although I think it would be best if it was a time we wouldn't be interrupted.' He smiles. 'I wouldn't want you distracted from me one bit.'
presses the young man to his chest as he steps closer tilting his head down and to the side to watch for his reaction. "I'll be here until
very late tonight. If you want to start immediately."
's eyes widen as his insides twist in excitement. He is more than willing to stay put, lowering his voice so their conversation seems more_
intimate. 'Sounds perfect.' He says suggestively, tilting his head up and biting his lip slowly. 'I feel a little selfish having you to_
myself but like you said - you're willing.' ((Does Sadik mean starting now or tonight? ))
(( Tonight because I believe it would only be lunch right now. ))
's gaze remained fixed on Heracles lips as he tried to keep himself from clearing his desk and throwing the Greek on to it and so he cleared
his throat as a sort of distraction. "I'll see you after school in that case."
(( If you want you can make a new plurk for it.
))
nods, deliberately doing so in a way to bring their faces mere inches apart. 'I'll be sure to bring you an apple, be your 'ideal student'.'_
holds his position for a few long moments as he memorises the specks of different colours in Sadik's eyes before he moves away and swings_
his bag up over his shoulder. 'See you this evening, sir.' He smiles and heads for the door.
to casually lean back on his desk before nodding as he pretends to rifle through some papers. "I'll see you then."
eyes him when he is looking through the papers. He then runs off to his next class, late.
