color me impressed. Just noticed Tumblr has their TOS on github so the public can compare versions.

actually been thinking of doing a website where the whole site's source is in github, and that contributions are even somewhat welcome.

if the site takes off, the hard parts are mostly in operations and sales/marketing/brand/whatever anyway, right? so, no private IP??

I think the more workable model would be you concentrate on the data... and publish a front-end on github intended to host oneself.

well, yeah, data I don't imagine putting on github, even if it's accessible via API or something... and even that probably wouldn't be all
