Report to work Monday, amidst a record year for murders, and a current spree that includes 3 unrelated homicides in 18 hours starting
42 homicides this year in a town of 300k. Nearly 90 since last July. It is a rough place. I just work there. My students live there!

Not surprisingly, we have a rather high teacher turnover rate! I work in Stockton, Ca. Usually one the most violent cities in America.
my DH grew up out that way in Rio Vista and had family in Stockton, most have left.
