When you post them like that, just say you edited the original gifs. That way there is less confusion.

Because I've seen lots of gif posts without sources or are obvious edits of other gifs

Well, I can understand zerochan.net if the artist deletes the image or their account. I've seen a few cases of that.

Well, with gifs, a lot of times, makers watermark them. And as long as you don't get rid of those, it's all good.

But when you're actually editing the gifs, that's when you should at least say who the source is, because otherwise it would default as you
