"Mythos" because its back is the same hue of white as Mytho's hair and has an elegant design imo....and because I'm a dork who relates
But actually, no, my strongest, lingering memory of Princess Tutu was Mytho. He was the one I remembered the most for some reason, even
though I now realize that my writing muse's personification is heavily based on Fakir and why I used to dream of having his power to spin
stories. But when I'd think of Princess Tutu, I'd remember Mytho. Even when I forgot his name, when I watched Death Note and saw Near, the
first thing I thought of was, "He looks like the prince from Princess Tutu!"
But while my tablet's name is based on Mytho, I also named it after the actual word "mythos", meaning "a story or set of stories relevant or
having a significant truth or meaning for a particular culture, religion, society, or other group," since I'm mainly going to use it for
school-related tasks, such as reading my ebooks, recording and taking notes of lectures, and reviewing powerpoints (because I honestly find
studying on a desktop with Internet access very difficult. I have no focus derp).
So when I'd get back home feeling upset after a hard day but still needing to study, Mythos will be there for me, and be all
"Nox! Nox! Will you read me a story like Fakir used to do?"
and I'd be all, "Of course, Mythos!", and I'd imagine him hovering over my shoulder like his heart shards do, reading along with me.
and acting like the Heart Shard of Curiosity, always asking questions in an innocent voice.
These are the measures I'm taking to make studying more fun and interesting for me. XD
I've actually been fiddling around with Mythos this weekend, transferring my eBooks to his internal storage and downloading school-related
apps. I downloaded an app for Plurk too, but it's harder to reply via Mythos though. XP
But I only opened my desktop now. I did all my internet surfing on Mythos this weekend. XP
I'm impressed. In terms of operating system, I prefer Android to iOS, even in terms of design. I was never a fan of aluminum gray. :T
But I'm so happy hahaha. Mythos is my study buddy, and with his help, I'll be a good, responsible student and get good grades. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚’✿
pff aww, that's really cute. XD
I named my computers, but never my tablet. hmm
mildmilotic: Hahaha thanks XD I'm in my 'in love/infatuation' stage with MYTHOS right now, testing all his programs and playing around. I
always go through one when I get new gadgets that I like because my parents don't like buying gadgets and it takes me a long time to
convince them. It took me 7 months of constantly bugging my mom to get her to buy me a new desktop. We only had one laptop at home, and it
would take 2 hours just to open Microsoft Word, 1 hour to open iTunes, and 10 minutes to open Google Chrome. It was ridiculously slow, but
since a laptop was still a computer, she didn't want to buy me a new one, which was really frustrating because I was writing my research
paper at that time. So I when I finally got 7-UP (my desktop), I was so happy that I was in the height of my infatuation stage for 3 months
actually, I'm still infatuated with 7-UP though I got her more than a year ago, though it toned down. I really like gadgets, but in addition
to that, my parents got it for me, so it really, really means a lot to me, and it gives my gadgets personal sentiment, and I try my best
to take care of them. I like showing my parents how much I appreciate their gifts. It's not hard because I'm naturally enthusiastic about
gadgets. XD That's actually another reason why I give my gadgets names. Aside from the enjoyment I get from naming them, they mean a lot to
to me, since they come from my parents, help me out with school, keep me connected with people, and serve as entertainment. MYTHOS is
really special to me because he's my graduation gift and my debut gift. I worked really, really hard in high school, and even though I
did it to be a good student and not for gifts from relatives, I still like thinking that I was given MYTHOS as a reward for my hardwork.
