Um... These newscasters on CNN are bright. They're encouraging people to charge their phones while they still have power.. That's good but..
They are then encouraging people to watch the news from their devices if they lose power. As if that won't kill the batteries in an hour.
They haven't even mentioned that people should conserve their batteries in case of emergency.

Yes, but they should be doing a text stream for that rather than encouraging people to watch video.
A sms notification service would be even better.
And a lot of that information will probably already be pushed via reverse 911
