I'm suddenly thinking this isn't a good sign.

She then says, "Your dad really misses you."

And follows it up with, "He'll never say it out loud to you or to anyone else, but he's not the same without you there."

I think it's safe to say at this point: I'd have stuck around, dad. I'd have put up with your bullshit had you actually treated me worth a damn.

Instead of giving me bullshit every single time I'd open my mouth and treating everything I say like I know nothing, we'd have probably had a chance at making it work better than it did.

So dad, I'm sorry you feel this way. I really am.

But holy shit, I ain't the one who bitched and made his son feel like scum of the earth every single day that I walked onto one of his jobs.

After having the last two of three years of my dad finally catching up to me, I'm glad to be where I am.. an Amazon employee and working (successfully) for my money, making a difference and it shows.

And other people fucking appreciate it.

I don't think I can describe quite how that feels.

So yeah, sorry for using this for a shoutbox to declare my problems, but it's not like I've spoken to anyone else aside from work people for the last four days.

And before that climbing into my weekend.. I really haven't spoken to much of anyone.

Just.. what my mom told me blew my mind in more ways than I can handle.
