If you use an adblocker, see if turning it off solves the problem. I had to switch adblocking extensions to solve the problem.

: I can see that one. I will try another browser when I get back though

ogman

I have problems with a friend from Belgium posts certain kinds of image links. Do you see the link and not the image?

Check your browser plug-ins. It could be something in the Ad Blocker, as
ogman
pointed out; or if you use one of the plug-ins that prevents Facebook and Google+ from tracking your every click, that
Άτροπος

could be preventing you seeing them, too.

I do use a facebook stopper as well... I will turn that off for plurk and see what happens. Thanks !

looks like it's the interaction of the facebook blocker and Adblock plus. I have to turn them both off to see all images

LotusHips
: Thanks for this post! I have the same problem. I also have AdBlock Plus and a tracking plug-in.
LotusHips

: I just turned them off for plurk. That means we have to see the ads but we can now see all the pics people post!

Mine was a plug-on specifically to stop FB tracking. I still have my AdBlock running and I can see the thumbnails here on plurk again.

LotusHips
: You can use my CSS code to hide the ads without having to resort to an AdBlocker

Here
is all the CSS code I use to hide Plurk’s annoying “features”: Front Page, ads, and the faux lightbox effect.

Add that to the bottom of your profile CSS (edit your profile > Customize Profile) to enable them all;

just include the section that starts with "div#plurk_ads[style], div#cbox_ads, .cbox_right {“ if you only want to nuke ads.

Plurk staff periodically fiddle around with their code to try to undo my efforts, but so far I have managed to keep the upper hand
