I want that red bird thing! ... This is probably the only time I've ever wanted the red-ish colored mascot more than the blue one.

But the blue one reminds me of Dialga, and the red bird thing reminds me of a Shin Megami Tensei monster when I look at it's belly.

Also Ruby pointed out it looks like the Shadow of the Colossus bird monster. Everything about it makes me want it more.

I look at Froakie and it kind of reminds me of Tympole's evolutionary line a bit, so I feel strange about it's existence.

But it's also got a cute little snow backpack. It's cute and not cute at the same time. I'll probably choose it just because it's the water starter, honestly.

Chespin is really weird to me, but it's also a non reptile grass starter ??? I mean, It's super adorable. But it doesn't fit into what I know about my grass type starters. It'll probably grow on me.

Fire fox is adorable and that's all of my feelings for it.

Fennekin's my fav so far, but I like Chespin, perhaps because it's weird. It's like a squirrel wearing a little green hat.

I don't really care for the frog. I generally dislike frog pokemon. But I may entirely change my mind depending on what their evolutions are.
